Most modern music players ping analytics servers dozens of times a minute. Here is what Audion emits during local playback:
Optional user-triggered requests:
- Lyrics lookup: Only when an explicit track does not have embedded LRC tags and you choose to search online.
- Plugin registry: Only when you actively open the in-app Plugin Marketplace to browse community additions.
- Release check: An automated ping to GitHub releases for update notifications, which can be permanently disabled in Settings.

Deploy the container
Run the Docker Compose snippet above on your local server, NAS, or Raspberry Pi.
Open Settings
In your Audion desktop or Android app, click the Settings gear icon.
Select Custom Server
Under Account, choose Custom Server (Subsonic API compatible).
Enter your credentials
Enter your host URL (e.g. http://192.168.1.50:8080) and log in to stream anywhere.
