Install notes

Windows (SmartScreen notice)
Audion is independent open-source software built directly from public GitHub source code. Because the project does not purchase an expensive enterprise EV code-signing certificate, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may display a prompt stating "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then click Run anyway to start the installer.
Linux (AppImage, Deb, Flatpak, and Arch AUR)

AppImage: Make the downloaded file executable with chmod +x audion_*.AppImage and execute. If running on immutable systems (e.g. Bazzite or Fedora Silverblue) where software rendering is required, start with AUDION_DISABLE_DRI3=1.

Debian / Ubuntu: Install via terminal with sudo dpkg -i audion_*.deb.

Flatpak: Install using flatpak install audion_*.flatpak.

Arch Linux: Audion is available in the AUR as audion-bin. Install using yay -S audion-bin or paru -S audion-bin.

macOS (Gatekeeper confirmation)
If macOS Gatekeeper shows a warning for an unnotarized open-source build on first launch, right-click (or Control-click) Audion.app in Finder, choose Open from the menu, and confirm by clicking Open in the dialog.
Android (APK installation)
Allow "Install unknown apps" for your browser or file manager in Android Settings > Apps, then tap the downloaded .apk file to complete installation.
